I'm a post-Katrina New Orleanian from Mississippi who will be moving to Orlando for law school beginning in August. I'm a pretty outgoing person, maybe a bit cynical, but overall, I have a great sense of humor and I get along with just about anyone. I'm a big music fan with a wide range of musical tastes, from Indie Rock to Latin Rhythm to even a little bit of pop. I'm also a HUGE sports fan, Diehard Saints fan, but not so much into college sports anymore. I love to travel, love my family and friends, and like to think that I'm pretty good at not taking things for granted. When at home, I pretty much like to keep to myself, but I'm actually rather social. I like to go out on weekends, but this year, I'm going to be focused on school, so I won't be out as much. Basically, I'll be transistioning back into the student life, and I want to to the best I can without having any unwanted distractions around me.
I get up 6am - 8am.I go to bed 12am - 2am. I eat almost anything. My level of cleanliness is best described as average. I rarely have overnight guests. I party weekends.
My work schedule is best described as "student". My professional occupation is legal.
Children do not live with me. I do not have any pets.
I'd like to live close to Downtown Orlando since my school is down there, but overall, I'd like to be in a nice area with lots of coffee shops around, since I know I'll be spending a lot of time studying in them. As far as a roomate, I'm not too picky, male or female is fine; I've lived with both so that doesn't matter. Ideally I'd like to live with a graduate student or young professional who takes his/her work seriously and doesn't mind going out every once in a while. Also, since I'll be moving to Orlando without having any friends there, I'd just like to live with someone who I can get along with, who isn't prejudice, doesn't thrust his/her views on other people, is not arrogant, values hard work. I'm also looking for someone who either already has an apartment or already has the things to fill up an apartment (living room set, TV, etc.) since bascially the only thing I'll be ing down with is my bedroom (bed, desk, etc.). I'd like to move in July 27th if at all possible, and hmmm, guess that's all I can think of now. Above all, thanks for all the help, and I hope things work out well for the both of us. : )
