I'm a 22 year-old recent college graduate...I just got a job offer in DC and will be moving on October 26th. I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and have lived in Phoen, AZ since I graduated. In fall 09 I will be starting grad school while working full-time...until then, I'll probably wait tables two or three nights a week. I'm a really, really laid back guy. I'm very political (liberal) but am tolerant of opposing views. I'm a vegetarian, but my family is full of meat-eaters. I like sports, live music, good beer, and good discussion. I'm a pretty big nerd, and I embrace it.

I get up before 6am.I go to bed 12am - 2am.I eat vegetarian.My level of cleanliness is best described as clean.I occasionally have overnight guests.I party occasionally.

My work schedule is best described as "professional (9-5)". My professional occupation is internet/media. I do not have any pets.

I'm looking to share a nice apartment in the DC area with a young, fun person like myself. Gender isn't important to me. I'd like to live in DC, but am more than open to a place in Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, or anywhere that has ready Metro access. Since I'm going to be new to the area, I'd like someone who can be more than just a roommate - I'd like a friend as well.

I am looking for roommates between the ages of 18 and 25. I don't mind if my roommates smoke outside only. I don't mind if my roommates have a pet cat, a pet dog.

I enjoy reading, sports, running, traveling.I listen to Literally everything...and I don"t mean anything in a "whatever is top 40" kind of way. My taste is best described as Indie, I suppose. Some bands: Sigur Rós, Ólafur Arnalds, Eluvium, The Notwist, Damien Rice, Sufjan Stevens, Arcade Fire, Muse.My favorite books are I don"t read much fiction, though I do revere the classics. Some fiction authors of note: Mitch Albom, David Sedaris, Haruki Murakami. As for nonfiction, I"m willing to read anything that teaches me something..If I am in front of a TV, I usually watch Entourage, House, Chuck, Mad Men, It"s Always Sunny in Phil, Arrested Development, Heroes.Movies I enjoy the most are Cidade de Deus, The Usual Suspects, The Constant Gardener, Amores Perros, Babel, Pan"s Labyrinth, Gandhi, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Par Movies, Lion King, Aladdin, Amélie, La Haine, Saved, Almost Famous, Trainspotting, Juno.
